Description

We will begin taking a tour of Getxo, the most residential region of Biscay, where we can distinguish five different areas: Algorta, Neguri, Las Arenas, Romo and Andra Mari, a rural area with a golf course, an equestrian club and some blue flag beaches next to El Abra Port.

We will travel across a nice and quiet avenue to see stately mansions of beautiful architecture and, at the end of it, we will find the marina. Not far away from here, we will come across Algorta’s Old Port, replete with steep narrow streets and small white houses belonging to fishermen. It’s a place full of charm.

Arriving to Las Arenas we could see the Puente Colgante, a transporter brigde designed by the architect Alberto Palacio, which has a similar structure to the one of the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
